14jährige betet, geht zur Schule – und sticht brutal zu, um Menschen zu töten

Jerusalem: „On Tuesday, she got up early in the morning and prayed. Her mother, who noticed that she was awake early, told her to go back to sleep but the terrorist instead made preparations for the attack she planned to conduct with her female friend. The terrorist took two knives intending to use them in the attack, and hid them in her schoolbag. At around 7 a.m. she left home towards her school, with the knives inside her bag. Her friend was busted during the school day after a sharp kitchen knife was found in her school bag. She was sent to the principal’s office and handed over to the welfare services and police.

But the 14-year-old terrorist resolved to go it alone, and at roughly 2:30 p.m. at the end of the school day, instead of returning home with her friends as was her routine she got on a bus headed for Jerusalem’s Old City.

Before getting off the bus the terrorist took out one of the knives and hid it in her coat pocket. She entered the area of Hagai Street and Via Delorosa Street in the Old City, and later turned towards the Damascus Gate, all while scanning the region for many long minutes for a Jewish victim to stab.

An alert police officer at the Damascus Gate thwarted her intentions however, after noticing her suspicious behavior. He asked her to take her hands out of her coat pockets.

The terrorist took her left hand out of her pocket, at which point the officer asked her to take out her other hand as well. She did so, revealing the knife clutched in her hand. The officers were able to overpower and arrest her without her inflicting any wounds, and in the process they found the second knife in her bag as well.“ (Hier)
