Deep suspicions exist between predominantly Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia and its mainly Shia Muslim neighbour. On Monday, Ayatollah Khamenei accused Saudis of ‚murdering‘ pilgrims caught up in a stampede at last year’s Hajj.“
